The Campfire of the Minnesota State Director

   We are ready for the year 2003! Your MN State Staff has been working hard to ensure you have a good time at our Samborees.We hope you all appreciate their accomplishments. The Theme for Farmington is: "South of the Border "FIESTA" Minnesota Style". Get all your Mexican finery out for this celebration. We have lotza "FUN" plans for you!

If your Chapter has a "Scholarship Nominee", this is due by May 1st. Also, on-going projects are the "Torch Run", which will need more Chapter participation as two new legs will be starting - hope some of you Chapters will consider this - it is a good time! Plus, does your Chapter have a "Couple of Year" chosen? We are looking! Also, "Chapter of the Year", there are a lot of Chapters out there that deserve this award! Hope you all get involved! The Chapters that have the highest increase in membersip will be recognized by the International this next year! Don't forget about the "Top Dog Award".

We hope you are utilizing your Assistant State Directors in charge of your Chapter, as they have a lot of information you may want to utilize. Remember, if you want to know anything "Just Ask Them" they have assured us they will be happy to help out your chapter in anyway they can! We hope that you appreciate them, as they are there for you!

Jerry & I thoroughly enjoyed the 2002 as your State Director, and would like to "Thank" our friends and family from the bottom of our hearts! "THANK YOU" to all of you! No wonder there's so much warmth behind the "Thanks" we send your way - your special kindness brought such joy, it really makes the day; and when any group of people do the thoughtful things you do - it is hard to find words warm enough to "Thank" each and every one of you! "GOD BLESS YOU ALL! We are looking forward to another "FUN" filled year with the Minnesota Good Sam Club, State Chapters, Out of State friends; and "Welcome All to our State. See you in Farmington!!!
