From the Secretary's desk:

Winter is going by fast and soon it will be camping season again. It won't be soon enough for me, as I thoroughly enjoy the camping and meeting new friends and renewing old friendships. I hope to conduct more seminars at our Samborees! I have so enjoyed meeting our Chapter Secretary's you have given me some great ideas! I want to "Thank" each of you for attending the Samborees, and for all the help you have given me! I so appreciate the updates of member addresses & such - it has been a big help! Lots of special things are being planned for the "Fiesta" in Farmington -I truly hope we see many of you there! Let us continue to work together, and make this the biggest & best Samboree ever - it can only be done with your help! See you there!

Please Pre-register by May 8

From: Jennet Anderson ( State Treasurer)

We're looking forward to a GOOD year with Good Sam Samborees. Registration will he important as usual. We like to know who is here, and where you are from, and who you are with. Makes it easier to locate you. This year there will be a separate charge for your Saturday Catered Meal, so watch for a different color wrist band. I've already received a letter from a prospective new Chapter member- so keep recruiting! We have one of the best representations for Samborees, and we are proud of that!! Keep thinking Good Sam off and on all year!

INTERNATIONAL

Leslie Holzer has come up with an idea for the International Rally. This year instead of a carnival for "Good Sam Day", her idea is to have a "Kentucky Directors Derby". Have a parade before each race, bet on the horse the Director is on and 50% of earnings go back to the State. Sounds like fun - huh! Get your thinking caps on & call Jim for your ideas on this. He will have to make his own horse to ride - any ideas?
