From The Desk of The State Director
Another year has come and gone. Seems like just the other day we were getting ready for our fall samboree and here it is the start of another year and time to start thinking of our 2007 spring samboree.We hope all you that attended the 2006
samborees had a good time.We are looking forward to our next samboree in NEW
ULM, MN. There is a lot of electric (20 amp) I talked with the fair board president and he has told me that with the new electric they are installing and the use of our power cords we should be able to plug in 400 to 450 units I hope he is right, because that would mean almost every one that comes could get plugged in. Red Johnson has some great entertainment lined up and Tom Gilbertson is already working on tours. Remember we will also have a golf tournament, seminars, and vendors and of course all the games and one new game we tying TRUTLE RACES.We would like to thank all our vendors, host people, state staff and everyone that volunteered to help with the samborees.
Please wear your chapter shirts, vest, name badges, etc. GOOD SAM is about camping and having fun. Remember KEEP IT SIMPLE & KEEP IT FUN.
