Hello Everyone
We were all looking forward to our samborees in 2008. We hope
everyone that attended enjoyed them. We had quite a few 1 st tim-
ers at both samborees. I think this is great-we need new people
getting involved to keep us growing and getting new ideas. Now
its time to think about our 2009 Samborees. Red Johnson has
some great entertainment lined up. Check out the entertainment in
Red's article. Tom Gilbertson is already working on tours. Re-
member we will also have a golf tournament, seminars, and ven-
dors and of course all the games.
Thanks to all of you for coming to our samborees and your contin-
ued support of MINNESOTA GOOD SAM.

Please wear your chapter shirts, vest, name badges, etc. GOOD
SAM is about camping and having fun. Remember KEEP IT
SIMPLE & KEEP IT FUN.

dates and locations, registration forms, list of chapters, chapter
presidents, list of all the state staff, and more.
We have seen a lot of changes; gas prices went higher than I
thought we would ever see. Now gas prices are starting to drop. I
hope this will help us keep on camping and traveling our great
country. There is another change coming, 2009 is our election
year for state director. I will not be running for re-election, Pam
and I have enjoyed working on staff with Pollock and Jerry for 2
years, I have loved being your state director, 2009 will be 6 years,
time flew by it seems like last year was my first. We made a lot
changes and improvements that I think will help the next state
director.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone in 2009.

Up coming Minnesota Good Sam Chapter presidents meeting will be April 18, 2009 at 10:00AM at St. cloud Campground & RV Park St. Cloud, MN, and may 23, 2009 at8:00 AM in McLeod County Fairgrounds, Hutchinson, MN at the Samboree
