We hope everyone is looking forward to our Samboree in Alexandria in August. We had quite a few l^st timers at our Hutchinson samboree and I hope they will join us in Alexandria. I think this is great we need new people getting involved to keep us growing and getting new ideas.
Red Johnson has some great entertainment lined up. Check out the entertainment in Red's article. Tom Gilbertson is already working on tours.
Remember we will also have a golf tournament, seminars, and vendors and of course all the games.
We hope everyone that came to Hutchinson had a good time. I know we did.
I have seen a lot of changes in the past 8 years. I hope some the changes I made were for the best. We added more sound system items, stage, power cords, and a different larger trailer. We tried different types of entertainment, all for the best I hope.
This will be my last year as your state director. I have enjoyed the time very much. We have a good thing going here in Minnesota and I hope it continues.
I would like to wish the next director all the best and hope you all will support them and make them feel welcome the way you have Pam and I.
Hope to see everyone in Alexandria and make our last samboree as directors the best.
