Hello from your State Directors Ray and Gloria Poncelet Wow! One year whizzed right by us way too fast and we all got a year older! Thanks to Duane and Kathy Anderson for serving on the State Staff. They are being replaced by Dave and Jocelyn Schimpp. Also thanks to Keith and Dee Beckman. They are being replaced by Carl and Donna Schultz. We really appreciate these people stepping forward and helping us out! Thanks also goes to Sta e - a .; os people, verfoors, and the individuals and chapters who stepped in and helped at the Samboreee! What really makes a good Samboree is the number of people attending. Owatonna, May 19-22 is coming together nicely. Last time we were there was in 1993. The fairgrounds office has a large aerial photo of that Samboree- check it out! We will have tours, vendors, seminars, games, jam sessions, nightly evening entertainment, a banquet Saturday night and more! The theme is "Circus" and the challenge is to build a circus train. Check the rules inside the Minne- Trails and HAVE FUN! Invite your friends and neighbors to a Samboree and we hope to see everyone this spring!
