The Great Outdoors is calling
Got the itch to enjoy the great outdoors? Swatting mosquitoes in the company of interesting adventurers with like interest? Join us - we get together to camp the first weekend of the month about six times during the summer. Generally we camp Friday -Sunday, with an occasional three night campout (Thursday-Sunday). In addition, members have the opportunity to participate in the Samborees (group meeting of all chapters) Our members take turns hosting the campouts and making coffee for the Saturday morning coffee & treat gathering. In addition, we have one potluck during the campout (generally Saturday night). Depending on the host we may have games, themes, fundraisers - it's really up to the brave soul(s) that have taken it on and it varies from month to month. Think winter slows us down?? Think again. During winter months the group may get together for a Holiday gathering and maybe a lunch or two to catch up on things before we start the summer campouts.

INTERESTED?
We'd love to have you come see for yourself! We ask that prospected members attend two campouts before joining the chapter. (Because, hey, on your first visit you'll want to join the group.) Please contact the Chapter President to find out the upcoming schedule and the arrangements you will need to make to come along!

ABOUT OUR MEMBERS
Our group consists of members (with various levels of camping experiences and rigs) throughout the Metro - Minneapolis, Golden Valley, Champlin, Elk River, Forest Lake, Edina, Anoka, Fridley, Osseo, Brooklyn Park, Blaine, Plymouth and Eden Prairie.
